Getting Started

Basic information about using eSchool Manager

You can search for schools in three ways:

  • Quick Search: Use the search bar on our homepage to search by school name, location, or curriculum
  • Advanced Filters: Filter schools by level (Nursery, Primary, Secondary), location, fees range, curriculum (UNEB, Cambridge, ACE), boarding/day, and religious affiliation
  • Browse by Region: Explore schools by Ugandan regions (Kampala, Wakiso, Mbarara, Jinja, etc.)

All schools on our platform are verified by our team to ensure they meet basic operational standards.

Yes, completely free! Searching for schools, comparing fees, and reading school profiles costs you nothing.

The only cost is when you submit an application:

  • UGX 2,500 per application - covers processing and verification
  • This fee applies to each school you apply to
  • You pay only when you submit the application, not when browsing
Note: Some schools may have additional application fees that will be clearly displayed before you apply.

Multi-School Applications

How our one-form, multiple-school system works

Our system is designed to save you time and effort:

  1. Create One Profile: Fill in your child's information once (name, age, previous school, academic records)
  2. Select Schools: Choose all the schools you want to apply to (you can apply to up to 5 schools at once)
  3. Submit Once: Upload all required documents (birth certificate, previous reports, photos) just one time
  4. System Distributes: Our system automatically sends complete applications to each selected school
  5. Track Everything: Monitor all applications from your dashboard

This eliminates the need to fill different forms, visit multiple schools, or upload documents repeatedly.

Application completion time varies based on how prepared you are:

  • Quick applications: 15-20 minutes if you have all documents ready
  • Average time: 30 minutes for most parents
  • Save and continue: You can start an application and complete it later

Important: Our UGX 2,500 fee is for processing your application through our platform. This fee is non-refundable as it covers administrative costs regardless of admission outcome. School-specific fees may have different refund policies.

After Applying

What happens after you submit applications

We provide multiple ways to track your application:

  • Instant Confirmation: Email and SMS immediately after submission
  • Parent Dashboard: Real-time status updates (Received → Under Review → Decision Made)
  • SMS Notifications: Updates when schools view or make decisions on your application
  • Email Updates: Detailed notifications for important milestones
Typical Timeline
  • Immediately: Payment confirmation
  • Within 1 hour: Application sent to schools
  • 1-3 days: Schools acknowledge receipt
  • 1-4 weeks: Admission decisions (varies by school)
Need Help?

If you don't receive confirmation within 24 hours:

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Verify your contact information
  • Contact our support team

Congratulations! Here's what happens next:

  1. Admission Letter: You'll receive a digital admission letter through our platform
  2. Acceptance: Log in to accept the offer within the specified deadline
  3. Next Steps: The school will contact you directly with:
    • Fee payment details and deadlines
    • Required documents for registration
    • School orientation schedule
    • Uniform and book requirements
  4. Withdraw Other Applications: If you accept one offer, we recommend withdrawing other applications
  5. School Communication: Direct communication channels with the school will be established
